GLENDALE, AZ : 2 women killed in Glendale crash; man arrested for suspected impairment on Thursday, 12th August 2021

Two women were killed in a crash in Glendale late Wednesday night after getting hit by a suspected impaired driver.

The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. near 59th Avenue and Camelback Roads. According to Sgt. Tara Ochoa with the Glendale Police Department, the crash involved two vehicles. Police say a sedan heading east on Camelback Road from 59th Avenue was turning into a private drive when it was struck by an SUV heading west on Camelback Road, approaching 59th Avenue. Both women in the sedan died. Their names have not yet been released.
