MIDDLESEX, VT ; 2 dead in Middlesex crash on Sunday, 28th July 2024

Two people are dead after a single-car crash in Middlesex.

Vermont State Police say the crash happened around 5 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 89 northbound in Middlesex.

Emergency crews found the car fully engulfed in flames when they arrived at the scene.

The driver, Sean Delaney 19, and passenger Elana Korey, 20, both of Duxbury, Massachusetts, were pronounced dead at the scene.
