Sanu County, WI : Man injured in fatal crash near Lake Delton early Saturday morning, December 31, 2016

Wisconsin State Patrol identified the man who was killed in a crash early Saturday morning near Lake Delton.

Officials say a freight liner semi traveling eastbound on I-39/I-90 at milepost 93 traveled off the roadway and struck a guardrail. It then continued into the ditch line, and struck several trees.

The guardrail protruded in to the eastbound lanes and was struck by two cars.

the driver of the semi, 42-year-old Koshin Mohamed Omar, from Saint Cloud, Minnesota, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of the other cars had minor injuries. Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
