Cleveland , OH ; tanker truck were crashed and truck overturned and spilled some fuel onto the roadway at I-90 on early Friday, December 5th 2014
Drivers heading into downtown Cleveland early Friday on I-90 East were stuck in stop-and-go traffic due to a tanker truck crash near W. 44th.
The accident, which happened shortly after 2 a.m., caused the closure of all eastbound lanes on I-90 for several hours. By the main rush, only one lane was passable
Motorists were encouraged to use Route 2 and I-480 as alternates.
All lanes of I-90 East were reopened by 11:30 a.m.
After the crash first happened earlier Friday, the right three lanes of I-90 West were also closed, but reopened a short time later.
