Kokomo, IN: Two elderly women killed in crash on Tuesday, August 4rd 2015

Authorities say two women have died in central Indiana after a pickup fleeing law enforcement struck the car they were riding in.Police identified the victims as 73-year-old Nancy Cripe and 82-year-old Mary Jo Dimitt, Fox59 reported.The Howard County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened Monday night in the unincorporated community of Center. WRTV and WTHR-TV report authorities tried to pull over the pickup for speeding on U.S. 31, and a chase ensued before the pickup went through a stop sign and hit a Toyota Prius.Howard County Sgt.Todd Prifogle says the passenger in the Prius was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver died after being taken to a hospital. Their names were not released.The Kokomo Tribune reports the two men in the pickup were not injured.
