Cleveland, OH : 30-year-old man died after crashing into tree in East Side Cleveland early Friday, April 15, 2016

A 30-year-old man died early Friday after he crashed into a tree on the East Side of Cleveland, police said.

Investigators think alcohol was a factor in the crash on the 10500 block of Kinsman Road that left Devon Ray dead, according to a release from Cleveland city officials.

Ray, of Cleveland, was westbound on Kinsman toward East 105th Street about 3:45 a.m., police said. His vehicle swerved into the eastbound lanes and struck a large tree in front of a house.

Ray was pronounced dead after being taken to University Hospitals Case Medical Center.
