RAMAH, LA : Motorcyclist dies after head-on crash in Iberville Parish on Thursday, 29th June 2023

Ronald Harter, 66, of Galveston, Texas was killed after being thrown from his motorcycle on Thursday, June 29. The deadly two-vehicle crash happened around 4 p.m. on LA 3000.

Harter was heading north on LA 3000 on a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he “failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, crossed the centerline and struck the Land Rover head-on,” according to the Louisiana State Police. Harter did have a proper helmet on but died at the scene.

Two occupants in the 2022 Land Rover SUV were wearing seat belts. Neither were hurt.
