Minneapolis , MN : Four People hospitalized after vehicle to crash into Hennepin County Medical Center on Friday night ,April 24 2015

A collision Friday night in Minneapolis caused a vehicle to crash into Hennepin County Medical Center and sent all four people involved to the same hospital.

A Metro Transit vehicle responded to a silent alarm activated by a bus driver about 10:30 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The Metro Transit Ford Explorer was traveling north on Park Avenue with its lights and sirens activated when it collided with a Suzuki Forenza that was heading east on Eighth Street South.

The force of the collision caused the Suzuki to crash into HCMC.

The two officers in the Metro Transit vehicle were hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries. Their identities are expected to be released Sunday.

The two occupants of the Suzuki, 24-year-old Rahma M. Hassan and 30-year-old Amina M. Jama, both of Minneapolis, were hospitalized with serious injuries.

An estimate for the damage done to the HCMC building was not available Saturday morning.
