GUILFORD, CT : A 38-year-old New Haven woman died on April, Tuesday 18th 2017
A 38-year-old New Haven woman died early Tuesday morning in a crash on Interstate 95, police said.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes near exit 57 around 12:23 a.m. Kelly Reynolds, of Greenwich Avenue, drifted off the roadway in her Hyundai Sonata onto the right shoulder, striking a wire rope guardrail and a state Department of Transportation sign, according to police.
The Sonata then made contact with several trees, causing heavy catastrophic impact damage, according to the accident report. It is unclear why she lost control of her car.
Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene and the vehicle was towed away. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the accident report.
