Westport, MA : New Bedford driver dead and five passengers injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 195 early Sunday, November 6, 2016

State Police say a New Bedford driver is dead and her five passengers were hurt in a rollover crash in Westport.

State Police say 25-year-old Cassandra Camacho was driving on Interstate 195 early Sunday when the car struck a median and rolled across all lanes. It came to a rest on its roof in the breakdown lane.

Police say Camacho was thrown from the car. She was declared dead at the scene.

Police say three men, ages 19, 26, and 30, and two women, ages 18 and 23, were hurt and were hospitalized. They are expected to survive. All are from New Bedford.

State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
