Dover, DE : One dead, two injured in Delaware County crash on Wednesday December 14, 2016

The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says they are investigating a fatal crash on US-42.

The single-vehicle crash happened shortly before 3:00 am U.S. Route 42, just east of Delaware near Short Cut Road.

According to the Delaware post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, three people were in the car when it went off the road and hit a tree.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were taken by helicopter to OSU’s Wexner Medical Center.

U.S. 42 is closed in both directions near the crash scene while troopers investigate.
