Pelham,MA : Pelham woman charged with DWI after crash on may, Sunday 28th 2017

Police said a 21-year-old woman was arrested on Old Bridge Street and charged with driving while intoxicated and having an open container of alcohol in her vehicle just before 2 a.m. Sunday.

The woman, Brianna Reyes of Pelham, told police she fell asleep while driving home from a concert when she crossed the center line, drove off the opposite side of the road and struck a utility pole.She was arrested after an officer said he noticed signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test.

Later, Reyes refused a breath test at the Pelham police station, police said.

A highly intoxicated 19-year-old woman was laying across the rear seat at the time of the crash, according to police. She was transported to Lowell General Hospital for an evaluation of injuries that did not appear to be serious.
