that one person was killed in a crash on the Wilbur Cross Parkway in Meriden around 6:25 a.m. on Friday. Police told the TV station that a pedestrian may have been hit by a car near exit 68 and that two people were taken to the hospital.
The northbound side of the highway was closed on Friday morning, and the Interstate 691 westbound ramp at exit 9 was also closed.
