Bakersfield, CA : Only minor injuries in a crash involving 18 vehicles on Highway 99 near Bear Mountain Boulevard south of Bakersfield on Monday, Nov 2, 2015

A crash involving 18 vehicles Monday snarled southbound traffic on Highway 99 near Bear Mountain Boulevard south of Bakersfield.

The California Highway Patrol reported blowing dust, which made for "zero visibility and very dangerous driving conditions."

Five minor injuries were reported.

Most of the highway was blocked for two hours. Traffic returned to normal just before 2 p.m., according to the CHP.

More rain is expected in the Bakersfield area Monday afternoon and evening, but Eyewitness News Chief Meteorologist Miles Muzio said he doesn't expect more dust storms.
