Volusia County, FL : Volusia deputy ticketed after crash with motorcycle on Thursday, September 11, 2014

A motorcyclist is in serious but stable condition after he ran into a Volusia County deputy’s patrol car. Troopers said it happened about 7 p.m. on State Road 11 near Woodland Boulevard. They said Deputy Miguel Roman turned into the motorcyclist’s path. The deputy was ticketed for violating the right of way, The motorcyclist was flown to Halifax Medical Center.
