Saint Augustine, FL : Driver involved in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, January, 28th 2018
The driver involved in a motorcycle accident Saturday night was upgraded from critical to stable condition Sunday afternoon.
Blake Patrick Lowthian, 54, of Jacksonville was identified as the operator of a motorcycle that was traveling north on County Road 210 when Lowthian lost control and veered off the roadway before crashing. The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at approximately 8:10 p.m. Saturday.
The driver, who sustained serious injuries, was airlifted to Orange Park Medical Center where he remains stabilized. Speed may have been a contributing factor in the accident, but the investigation is ongoing.
