LORENA, TX : Half dozen cars involved in multiple crashes Multiple crashes are being reported in the Waco area, slowing traffic on Interstate 35 on Monday, 22nd January 2024

Interstate 35 southbound lanes were closed Monday morning after multiple crashes were reported in the rain.

Traffic was backed up, but has reportedly improved as of 8:45 a.m.

The Lorena Chief of Police tells KWTX that a crash on I-35 near Callan Ranch Road involved three vehicles. No one was taken to the hospital but a few people had minor injuries.
