Portland, OR : Motorcycle rider injured in crash near Interstate 205 on Friday morning,August 14th 2015

A motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries early Friday morning after he crashed into the back of a car while speeding on Interstate 205, Portland Police said.Officers said the man was going at least 100 mph around 2 a.m. Friday when he crashed into the car in front of him on I-205 Northbound near the Southeast Stark Street exit.
The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with “traumatic” injuries; no word on his current condition.
The car’s driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment, officials said.
Police closed the interstate at Powell Boulevard to clear the crash scene. I-205 was reopened around 4 a.m.
