Three people were injured when four cars collided on Main Street in Hampstead on Tuesday evening.

Hampstead police responded to the intersection of Main Street and Md. 482 at about 5:45 p.m. for a report of a crash, according to a spokesman.

Two people were taken to Carroll Hospital and one person was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
