Neosho City, MO : Neosho man seriously injured in motorcycle crash on Highway 59 at the Neosho City Limits on Thursday, 5th September 2019

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an 18-year old Neosho man, Charles Merrell, was riding a 2007 Honda Shadow motorcycle northbound on Highway 59 at the Neosho City Limits at 8 a.m. on Thursday when a tractor trailer, driver unknown, failed to yield as the driver made a left turn from Business Loop 49 onto Highway into the path of Merrell.

Merrell laid the motorcycle over and was ejected under the towed unit of the other vehicle, which drove over him.

Merrell was transported to Freeman West Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
