INDIANAPOLIS, IN : Coroner identifies bicyclist killed after being hit by IMPD car on city's east side on Monday, 31st July 2023

A bicyclist died from his injuries after he was struck by a police squad car Monday afternoon.

The crash happened just after 2 p.m. July 31 on East 10th Street, between Lasalle and Olney streets. A portion of 10th Street was closed while police investigated.

The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the bicyclist as 34-year-old Joseph Rudolph Stiger.
