Davis, CA : Man dies in Woodland hit-and-run collision on Friday, 23rd March 2018

Woodland police are investigating an apparent hit-and-run collision that left a man dead Friday morning.

The victim was identified by Yolo County coroner’s officials as Kyle Fowler, 32, of Zamora.

It was a passing motorist that discovered Fowler’s body shortly before 7 a.m. along the east shoulder of County Road between Beamer Street and West Woodland Avenue on the west end of town, Sgt. Dallas Hyde said.

“Officers responded and confirmed the subject to be male and deceased,” Hyde said. “At this time it appears to be a hit and run, and the investigation is being conducted by the traffic division.”
