Hopkinsville, KY : A woman was injured in a single-vehicle rollover wreck on Monday, June 5, 2017

A woman was injured in a single-vehicle rollover wreck Monday afternoon on Cox Mill Road.

Lisa Baumgardner, 19, Hopkinsville, said she was driving south on Cox Mill Road when she veered to the right and felt her right tire go in a ditch. She attempted to correct the vehicle by turning left, but ended up in the left lane with a vehicle coming toward her. Baumgardner said she then over corrected again, causing her SUV to go back in the ditch on the right side of the road. She was able to crawl through a window in the back seat to exit the vehicle. When officers arrived, she was sitting down, waiting on EMS.
