LAFAYETTE, LA : Chalmette High students injured in five-bus crash near Lafayette authorities say on Tuesday, 5th November 2024

Several Chalmette High School students were injured Tuesday (Nov. 5) in a highway crash involving five school buses and a truck pulling a band trailer, according to school officials.

Lafayette Police told television station KDAN that six students had suffered “minor to moderate injuries.” But school officials told Fox 8 that nine students were treated for injuries at a hospital and released.
