A Carthage man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1 p.m. Tuesday on Dogwood Road, a half-mile south of Carthage in Jasper County, according to the Misssouri State Highway Patrol.
Wyatt A. Gipson, 24, was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin.
He was driving an eastbound pickup truck that ran off the road, then struck a utility pole and a tree, the patrol said.
• A Noel woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:10 a.m. Monday on Interstate 49, a mile south of Goodman in McDonald County, the state patrol said.
Maricela Gomez, 24, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.
She was driving a northbound car that ran off the road and struck a bridge wall, the patrol said.
• A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:41 p.m. Saturday on East 32nd Street just west of Connecticut Avenue, according to a Joplin Police Department report.
Thomas M. Farris Jr., 51, was taken to an unspecified hospital.
Farris was riding an eastbound motorcycle that was struck by a car driven by Erron L. Wright, 69, of Joplin, as Wright pulled out of a lot turning west onto 32nd Street, report said.
