Tuscaloosa, AL : Mississippi woman dies in Greene County wreck on Sunday, August 21, 2016

A Mississippi woman died in a traffic accident Sunday in Greene County, according to state troopers.

Genevieve Hancock Carter, 60, of Vancleave was killed at 10:30 a.m. when the 1999 Toyota Rav4 she was driving left the road, entered the median and overturned.

Carter was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash occurred on Interstate 59 near the 43 mile marker, about 5 miles north of Eutaw.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
