Crystal River, FL : Motorists in a rollover crash near a major Crystal River on Thursday, 29th March 2018
Motorists in a Thursday afternoon rollover crash near a major Crystal River junction came out with just minor injuries.
According to a Citrus County sheriff’s deputy working the three-car collision on State Road 44 just east of the U.S. 19 intersection, seven people involved suffered scrapes, bruises and seat-belt burns, but no major injuries.
A gray Nissan and its female driver attempted to turn into the parking lot of Suncoast Credit Union by cutting across the westbound lanes of S.R. 44 but in doing so crossed into the path of a beige Toyota, the deputy said.
The Toyota, occupied by a woman and three minors, struck the right side of the Nissan, which then rolled over, striking a red Toyota and its two passengers, which was stopped near the parking lot's entrance. The Nissan ended up on its side.
