Richmond, VA : Chesterfield man, 31, died after motorcycle crash on Hull Street Road on Tuesday, March 28, 2017

Chesterfield County police have identified the motorcycle driver who died after a crash Tuesday as 31-year-old Steven Beasley.

The crash occurred about 4:20 p.m. in the 9100 block of Hull Street Road, which is about a mile east of Courthouse Road. Police said Beasley, of the 1200 block of Traway Drive, was traveling eastbound on a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control and struck a guardrail.

Beasley was taken to VCU Medical Center, where he died.

The crash remained under investigation Wednesday.
