BLUEFIELD, WV : A North Carolina woman escaped injury after her vehicle crash on Monday, June 19, 2017
A North Carolina woman escaped injury Monday after her vehicle crashed in the north bound lane of Interstate 77 near Bluefield.
The vehicle was traveling north bound on Interstate 77 when it went off the roadway, into the median and rolled near mile marker 7.4, according to Sgt. A.P. Christian, with the West Virginia State Police Princeton detachment.
Christian said the woman escaped injury in the crash. She was wearing a seat belt.
The woman, whose identity was not immediately available, was the only occupant in the vehicle. The woman said she was en route to surprise her father for Father’s Day at the time of the crash.
