St. Landry Parish, LA : Man arrested in double fatality wreck in St. Landy Parish on Saturday, 7th December, 2019

The Louisiana State Police have arrested a Washington man following a fatal wreck in St. Landry Parish that killed two people on Saturday.

Michael S. Thibodeaux, 66, of Washington, was arrested Sunday on a hit-and-run charge following a wreck Saturday night on LA Highway 749 near Legion Lane in St. Landry Parish involving three pedestrians.

Kizzy Greene, 42, and Angela Broussard, 41, both of Opelousas, died as a result of the wreck. LSP has not released the name of the third pedestrian involved, though the agency reported that the person suffered minor injuries from the collision.
