Hillsboro,NH : 2 killed in Hillsborough collision on March, Friday 23rd 2018

Two people were killed in a collision Friday morning on West Main Street in Hillsborough.

Police said a box truck heading east crashed into a van heading west. The drivers of
both vehicles were killed, police said.

"We worked in conjunction with the Hillsborough Fire Department and also the Henniker Rescue in an attempt to extricate the subjects from the vehicles," Sgt. Derek Brown said. "Ultimately, it was determined that both operators of the vehicles were deceased at the scene."

Police identified the driver of the van as Kiefer Koester, 27, of Manchester, and the driver of the box truck as Scott Duguay, 29, of Weare.

"Based on eyewitness statements and investigation, it would appear that the box truck traveling eastbound had crossed the yellow center line and struck the van," Brown said.

The crash is still under investigation.
