A motorcyclist was killed Friday night near Clipper Mills in a reported head-on collision, according to California Highway Patrol logs and scanner traffic.
A call came in at about 7:45 p.m. for a motorcyclist down in the roadway on LaPorte Road near Grizzly Creek Road. The motorcycle was on fire and had to be extinguished.
Minor injuries to the driver of a vehicle were reported to the CHP .
