Fort Collins, CO : 6-year-old dies days after Greeley playground accident on Friday, December, 8th 2017

A Greeley 6-year-old died on Friday days after a playground accident at a Greeley STEM academy, police said.

The young girl reportedly became tangled in a swing on the playground at S. Christa McAuliffe STEM Academy on 51st Avenue in what police say all signs point to being an accident, Greeley law enforcement said.

CPR was already being performed by the time police arrived. The child was taken to Northern Colorado Medical Center by ambulance on Tuesday.
