A 66-year-old woman was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a collision in Linthicum, according to an Anne Arundel County fire official.

A 66-year-old woman was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a motor vehicle collision in Linthicum, an Anne Arundel County fire official said.

The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. near Aviation Boulevard and Elkridge Landing Road.

The sustained injuries that were considered serious but not life-threatening, the official said. She was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

No additional information on the crash was immediately available Tuesday night.
