TIMMONSVILLE, SC : Lamar man dies Saturday in Darlington County crash on Saturday, March 25th 2017

A Lamar man died Saturday in an early morning single-car crash.
The 5:40 a.m. crash happened when a 2015 Chrysler 300 ran off the right side of Tolson Road and into a tree, said Cpl. Sonny Collins, South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee identified the victim as Joshua Richard Pigatt, 22, of Seven Bridges Road. Hardee said Pigatt was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pigatt was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, Collins said.
The crash remains under investigation by the coroner's office and the Patrol, Hardee said.
