Crystal Lake, IL : One person injured in motorcycle crash in Lake in the Hills on Friday, June 17, 2016

A Lake in the Hills motorcycle crash sent one man to the hospital Friday, a fire official said.

Crystal Lake Fire Rescue District Battalion Chief Jerry Larsen said crews were called about 7:20 p.m. to Randall Road and Angela Lane.

At about 8:17 p.m., Lake in the Hills police sent out a Nixle alert asking drivers to avoid Randall and Village roads while police investigated a motorcycle crash. The investigation reduced Randall Road to one lane in both directions, according to the alert.

Larsen said he did not know what caused the crash or if the driver ran into anything, but the motorcycle was damaged.

The man driving the motorcycle was taken to Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin in stable condition, Larsen said. He said there were no passengers.

Larsen said Lake in the Hills and Crystal Lake police also responded.

Lake in the Hills police could not immediately be reached for more information.
