NORWICH, CT : Motorcyclist in Norwich dies after collision with car on Monday, October, 23rd 2017

A motorcyclist has lost their life after colliding with a car in Norwich on Monday.

According to police, the incident took place at 45 Salem Turnpike at approximately 12:48 p.m.

Police determined the motorcycle was traveling west bound on Salem Turnpike. The second vehicle involved in the collision was traveling east bound and making a left turn into a plaza.

Officials say the driver of the car stayed on the scene following the crash. Officers say that driver did not suffer any injuries.

The motorcyclist’s identity and gender have not been released.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
