The driver of a Porsche convertible died Friday afternoon when he collided with a flatbed truck on state Highway 12 near Kenwood, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The 55-year-old male driver, who has addresses in both Sonoma and San Francisco, was speeding up to 80 mph, passing cars and crossing double yellow lines on eastbound Highway 12 west of Dunbar Road when he lost control of the Porsche Boxster around 1:40 p.m., CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.
