Henrietta, NY : 1 dead, 3 hurt in Henrietta crash on I-390 in Henrietta on Thursday, 3rd January 2019

Deputies are investigating a fatal crash after a car plowed through a concrete barrier on I-390 in Henrietta.

Jordin Campbell, 22, is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault, and DWI. He was arraigned Friday afternoon and sent to the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond.

"So the message out of this is clearly that after several years law enforcement and stop DWI enforcement programs continue to push the message but people are not getting the message," said Chief Deputy Michael Fowler, who added, "It's now early in 2019, very early, and we've already lost one young life. Another young girl is fighting for her life at this moment and that is a true tragedy."

Deputies say Campbell was driving south on Clay Road near the Walmart around 11 p.m. Thursday when he failed to negotiate the turn and crashed through a concrete barrier that separates the road and I-390.
