Fayette,AL : Fayette man killed in crash on December, Sunday 10th 2017

A Fayette man was killed in an early-morning crash on Lary Lake Road Sunday.

Joseph Alan Bowen, 31, died at the scene, said Alabama State Troopers spokesman Trooper Reginal King.

Bowen was driving a Hummer H2 that left the roadway and struck a tree at 2:50 a.m., King said. Bowen wasn’t wearing a seat belt, he said. The crash happened about five miles north of Northport and remains under investigation.
