Dane County, WI : Two people seriously injured in a car vs. motorcycle crash in the Township of Christina on Sunday, May 3, 2015

Dane County Sheriff's Office Deputies say they responded to a car vs. motorcycle crash in the Township of Christina Sunday at 5:24 p.m.

Authorities believe a Honda Accord sedan was eastbound on County Highway A and failed to yield right of way from a stop sign at State Highway 73. A motorcycle was headed north on State Highway 73 and struck the sedan broadside.

Both the operator of the motorcycle and a passenger on the motorcycle were ejected.

The operator of the motorcycle was Med Flighted with serious, life threatening, injuries.

The passenger of the motorcycle was taken by ambulance to UW Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the car, Alexandra Mucks, 19, was not injured.

Authorities are not releasing the names of the motorcycle operator and passenger until families have been notified.

The crash remains under investigation.
