Highland, CA : Bicyclist dead after collision with car at the intersection of Sterling Avenue and 9th Street on Monday, 21st January 2019

A crash between a vehicle and bicycle in Highland left one person dead on Monday night.

Personnel with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and Cal Fire’s San Bernardino unit responded to a crash at the intersection of Sterling Avenue and 9th Street at around 8:30 p.m.

Officials said the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the site of the crash, and law enforcement closed parts of Sterling Avenue while investigating.

Officials did not immediately identify the bicyclist.
