Marshalltown, IA : Woman killed in weekend accident on Sunday, September 10, 2017

A Marshalltown woman has died when she was struck by a mini van over the weekend.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, on Saturday, at approximately 8:54 p.m., a vehicle driven by Barbara Ann Miller, 85, of Marshalltown, was traveling Eastbound on Iowa Ave West, when it struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway.

Holly Elizabeth Boone, 40, also of Marshalltown, was transported by EMS to Unity Point Health where she later died.

The investigation is on-going by the Iowa State Patrol.
