Vidor, TX : One man killed in car crash 12 and Linscomb Road, Vidor Texas on Saturday December 5 2015

Police have identified the man killed in a car crash Saturday afternoon in Vidor as Joshua Lynn Jones, 26.Jones was riding in the front passenger seat of a Nissan Maxima that collided with a Ford Edge shortly before 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Texas 12 and Linscomb Road, Vidor police chief Dave Shows said.
Neither driver appeared to be intoxicated, but chemical tests will be performed, Shows said.A 10-year-old child who was riding in the back of the Nissan was airlifted to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with life-threatening injuries, Shows said.
An 11-year-old child who also rode in the back of the car was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
The driver of the Edge was attempting a left turn onto Linscomb from Texas 12 when the cars collided, Shows said
