Orange Park man killed in hit and run accident

A 65-year-old man is dead after being hit by a truck around midnight on Monday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.According to reports, the incident happened on Wells Road in Orange Park when Jean Lionel Siyon was traveling eastbound on his bicycle when a driver of a Ford Edge struck and knocked him onto the roadway.

Siyon was pronounced dead at the scene.Police said the alleged driver, 28-year-old Shaun Ryan Simms of Orange Park, and the Ford Edge were located Tuesday night.
