NASHVILLE, TN : Driver wanted in hit-and-run crash that injured 74-year-old woman on Thursday, 31st October 2024

Officers are searching for a hit-and-run driver that seriously injured a 74-year-old woman near Madison Thursday night, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD said the woman was hit while attempting to cross Gallatin Pike at Welworth Street.

Witnesses told police the woman was attempting to cross at the intersection at about 7:45 p.m. when the driver of a red sedan (possibly a Toyota) struck her.

Police said she was taken to Skyline Medical Center where she is receiving treatment.

“Anyone with information about the hit and run driver/vehicle is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous,” MNPD said.
