Agawam, MA : Man killed in head-on crash in the area of Main Street on Saturday, January 2, 2016

Police in Agawam are investigating a head-on crash that left one person dead.

The accident happened at about 6 p.m. Saturday in the area of Main Street.

Lt. James Donovan says the driver of one of the vehicles, 48-year-old Christopher Young, died after being taken to a hospital.

The second driver was hospitalized with injuries.

The cause of the crash has not been determined.
