Phoenix, AZ : Pedestrian killed in early morning hit-and-run accident on Wednesday October 28 2015

Phoenix police say a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident.
The accident early Wednesday closed a portion of 19th Avenue south of Camelback Road during the morning commute as police investigated.
The pedestrian was struck by a car that then hit a tree and ended up next to an apartment building. The driver ran off.
The victim's identity was not released immediately.
