Hutchinson, KS : Colby man injured in Scott County crash on Monday, October, 30th 2017

A Colby man was injured Monday morning when his car went left of center on U.S. 83 in Scott County and collided with a semitractor-trailer.

Scott C. Finkbrinker, 58, of Colby, was southbound on U.S. 83 at about 7:35 a.m. when his 2015 Ford truck drifted left of center about 5 miles north of Scott City and struck a northbound 2006 Peterbilt semi driven by Jesus Noe Rubio, 44, of Garden City.

Finkbrinker was transported to Scott County Hospital with injuries. Rubio was not injured, the patrol reported. Both men were wearing seat belts, the report indicated.
