HAMDEN, CT : One seriously injured in crash in the area of 45 Bowen Street on Monday, 12th August 2019

A car was sent flying into a home in a two-car crash that sent one person to the hospital Monday night.
The crash occurred in the area of 45 Bowen Street late Monday night, according to fire officials. The impact from the collision sent an SUV up a home’s stoop and into the front porch.
An occupant in one of the cars was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. No one inside the home was injured, fire officials said.
Luckily, fire officials said, the home’s damage was confined to the front porch and the residents were not displaced.
Hamden police are investigating the crash.
